Woodward Lawyers Principal Stephen Woodward

Stephen has over 27 years experience as a legal practitioner, primarily in Business and Commercial Law. Stephen holds the distinction of being the first Queensland Lawyer to receive professional recognition (by the Law Society of New South Wales) as an Accredited Business Law Specialist.

In 2006, after 8 years as a Board Member of the Specialist Accreditation Board for the Queensland Law Society, Stephen was appointed inaugural chairman of the Queensland Law Society’s Business Law Specialist Accreditation Committee. Through his involvement with the Business Law Specialist Accreditation Committee Stephen assists in setting the standards for Solicitors who wish to receive specialist accreditation from the Queensland Law Society in Business Law.

Stephen is a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia and Notary Public. He has previously held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at Bond University where he primarily taught Corporate and Partnership Law. Stephen has also been a member of the inaugural Queensland Law Society Franchising Advisory Committee and an Honorary Solicitor for numerous Gold Coast Organisations.
